| Entry of heavy vehicles in Dhabber Chowk restricted | | | Early Times Reporter

To ensure smooth flow of traffic in Udhampur town during day time, the District Magistrate Udhampur, O.P Kalandria in exercise of powers vested to him under Section 144 Cr. P.C has imposed ban on the entry of civil and army heavy vehicles like trucks, tippers, heavy load carriers, buses and 3-ton army vehicles in Gole Market (Dhabbar Chowk) area of the town from 8 am to 9 pm.
The order shall have immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months.
The restrictions have been necessitated in view of traffic congestion and jams in the town and to avoid inconvenience to the general masses. The vehicles of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution carrying ration are not debarred from entering. |
