| One arrested with bhuki | | | Early Times Reporter

The sleuths of the excise department today arrested a bus driver and recovered 31 kgs of bhuki from his possession when he was on way to Chandigarh from Jammu. According to reports today the Excise Commissioner during checking the vehicles on toll post at Lakhanpur stopped a bus number RJ14AP/5757 and during checking recovered 31 kgs bhuki from the vehicle and arrested driver namely Sat Pal son of Mohan Lal resident of Punjab. Reports said he told that he was on way to deliver the consignment and later the sleuths of excise department handed him over to Lakhanpur police for further interrogation. Police has also registered case under NDPS Act and has taken up investigation.
