Members of All J&K Zonal Resource Person/ cluster resource person (ZRP/CRP) association of district Jammu on Monday submitted a memorandum to chief education officer through deputy CEO highlighting strong resentment prevailing among ZRP/CRP over the discriminatory and dictatorial attitude adopted by the senior officials of the education department in ordering frequent transfer of the cadre covered under Sarva shiksha Abhiyaan .

More than 70 members of the association today reached office of the CEO led by President of the association Jasmeet Singh and submitted memorandum to deputy CEO in the absence of CEO RC Chaudhary.
The members of the association were annoyed with the frequent number of transfers of ZRP/CRP in Jammu district without reviewing their performances.
The association members in their memorandum also alleged that the state and centre govt were spending crores of rupees to make SSA project a great success and at the same time some officers are hell bent upon to crumble the project under the garb of transfers.
Referring to huge costs involved in transfers the association members submitted that an expenditure to the tune of Rs 6 lakh per ZRP/CRP has been incurred by the govt on account of their salaries and training and it is not worthwhile to trasfer them without reviewing their performance. "Since performance report of each ZRP/CRP is being given to CEO through respective ZEO and in every zone the performance of each ZRP/CRP is excellent and satisfactory, which is evident from the annual report of SSA J&K Mission whereby it has been shown that the enrolment has increased and dropout rate has been considerably reduced and Jammu district is on the verge of attaining 100 per cent literacy in the next years to come, so there is no justification why the transfers were made" the members alleged.
In their memorandum the association members also submitted few questions to be responded by the CEO to satisfy their apprehensions over the smooth functioning of the SSA project in the Jammu district. The agitated members also demanded explanation from the CEO how the gross violation have been committed in the norms regarding the constitution of Zonal and cluster resource centre for which the government of J&K had created 180 additional posts of teachers in the district to spare the services of teachers working as ZRP/CRP. Through their memorandum they also demanded that fresh transfer orders be modified and no such orders be issued in violation of the norms of the SSA in the best interest of the smooth functioning of the project.
