Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has felicitated Team India on winning the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup in a nail biting finish with Pakistan at Johannesburg, South Africa yesterday.
Azad, who was speaking at a rally here made a special mention of the final match played between the arch rivals of the sub-continent on Monday.
The Chief Minister congratulated Captain Mahinder Singh Dhoni and his team mates for the spectacular win and said that the cool with which Indian cricketers played the game despite several lows and highs saw them winning the maiden Twenty20 Cricket World Cup. The players have done pride to the country and hoped Team India would continue its winning spree in the ensuing competitions
