| Experts assess hailstorm damage | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
Srinagar, August 17 :
To assess the damage caused by hailstorm to orchards and standing crops in Qazigund and adjoining areas of Langate block, a team of concerned officers accompanied by experts visited the area.
According to the team 90 per cent standing crops spread over 10271` kanals of land and worth Rs 2 crore and fruit in orchards spread over 1400 kanals worth Rs 2.25 crore have been damaged by the hailstorm on August 15,2006. |
