| Under Swajal Dhara Scheme Rs.2. 95 cr being spent in Baramulla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
Srinagar, Aug 17 :
For successful implementation of Swajal Dhara Scheme in Baramulla district Rs. 2. 95 crore are being spent in the district during the current fiscal.
This was stated in a review meeting of concerned officers convened in Baramulla today by the District Development Commissioner.
The District Development Commissioner asked the concerned officers to conduct a survey of the areas facing chronic drinking water shortage. He also directed them to submit estimates for the approval of funds by the Water Sanitation Committee.
The meeting decided to hold village level meetings, conduct seminars, and awareness camps in each block of the district to aware the people about benefits of the scheme. |
