700 applicants appear on day-1
B.Ed counseling begins

Counseling for B.Ed programme began today at Gymnasium Hall in University of Jammu (JU). It was a matter of experience for the applicants, as first day’s process got over much earlier than the scheduled closing time, courtesy excellent arrangements made by Colleges Development Council (CDC), JU, a spokesman of JU said.
On the first day, counseling was held for 700 local applicants who were having over more than or equal to 59.70 percent of marks in the qualifying examination.
The counseling was held under the supervision of Meenakshi Kilam Director CDC. The counseling was scheduled to be over by 5 p.m but the things got over much earlier then the scheduled closing time. For the first time, double display method was method for the proper information of applicants. A display each was placed for applicants sitting inside as well outside.
Kilam said that her team was making observations to streamline the process further as the counseling will continue at least for a month.
