| PDP highlights achievement, during first phase of coalition govt. | | Cancellation of shop allotments welcomed | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 25 The youth wing workers of people’s democratic party (PDP) were acquainted with the achievement achieved under Mufti Mohd. Sayeed as chief Minister, during the first three years of coalition govt. at a meeting held at Garhi in Udhampur. While speaking to workers PDP vice president and MLC Ved Mahajan expressed grave concern over increasing unemployment due to militancy. He demanded a special employment package like creation of 10 new battalions of Jammu and Kashmir armed police, so that unemployed youth could get job and member of village defence committee be regularized so they get pension benefit etc. General Secretary of party Daman Bhasin in his address welcomed cancellation of 31 shops, allotted by Jammu Development Authority including shop of Chief Minister brother. He demanded that a through probe into JDA affairs allotment of land, khokhas, halls and shops. MLC and Party General Secretary Murtaza Khan while speaking about formation of PDP, said the party was formed by Mufti with the aim of providing security to people, normalize the then prevailing circumstance. He asserted that Mufti Sayeed has a big agenda a vast canvas that is why he gave representation to all the coalition partners in his government. On the development front he said creation of four new universities, 22 new degree colleges and up gradation of hundreds of school has been the biggest achievement of PDP to people of the state.
