| PG Departments to take on GCW Parade in final today | | | Early Times Reporter

The combined side of Post Graduate Departments of University of Jammu will lock horns with Government College for Women (GCW) Parade for the title cash in the annual inter-college women handball tournament which is bring organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semi-finals played today, GCW Parade blanked GGM Science College (morning) in a one-sided contest 6-0. Rajni and Sarul contributed three goals each to the team’s score.
In the second semi-final of the day, GCW Gandhi Nagar lost to PG Departments 5-9. Kavita Ban (4) fought lone battle but could not survive the onslaught of Neha Choudhary and Nilza Angmo, who lead the PG attack. Neha scored highest four goals while Angmo contributed two.
The final has been scheduled for tomorrow at 10.30 am at the University grounds. Today’s matches were officiated by Sudesh Kumar (SAI Handball coach), Viney Sharma (State Sports Council Handball coach), Anil Sagotra and Gurcharan Singh.
