| Inf Deptt organizes debate at Christ HS Poonch | | | Early Times Reporter

A debating contest was organized by the Department of Information and Public Relations at Christ High School, Poonch on the theme “Achievement of coalition government in J&K”.
Principal of the school Father Jusuf Paikada presided over the function where as Prof. Mahipal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as 10 students participated in this debate. The contestant spoke with thrill and enthusiasm. Of them Syed Owais Bukhari, Miss Prabjot Kaur and Viplove Sudan were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Madam Punam Swaney was designated to adjudge the contestants.
While addressing the function, Father Jusuf gave an educative lecture and advised the students to take part in debates and symposiums for developing their vocal power which is imperative in all spheres of life in the modern democratic set up of the government. He thanked the Information Department for organizing such an interesting debate in the school.
Later, Principal gave away prizes among the participants which were arranged by the Information Department.
