Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today stage protest demonstration against the brutal lathicharge on the ABVP activists yesterday at Polytechnic College. The activists also burnt the effigies of chief minister at three different places.
Students of Ranbir Higher secondary school under the leadership of city secretary ABVP Rahula Vaid, simultaneously the students of MAM College under the banner of ABVP boycotted their classes which were led by city joint secretary Yasir Farooq Khan, Ajay Sharma. While the Jammu University Unit of ABVP were led by Suresh Mangotra, National Executive Member ABVP.
ABVP demanded that a case should be registered against the warden and those who are involved in the conspiracy. ABVP also appealed tom all the students’ community to remain unite.
Suresh Mangotra, National Executive Member ABVP also appealed to the Chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to intervene in the matter and start enquiry against police personnel involved in the illegal lathicharge.
