Major General GS Grewal, Chief of Staff, Headquarters 9 Corps visited 166 Military Hospital, Jammu today. The General Officer appreciated No Stitch Surgery done for the first time by the department of Ophthalmology. He visited the blood donation camp being organized in the department of Pathology where Brigadier JS Soin, Commander Tiger Artillery Brigade had set a personal example to the troops under his command by donating blood. Brigadier KR Salgotra, Commandant, 166 Military Hospital Jammu expressed gratitude towards the Tiger Artillery Brigade for helping out the hospital with donation of blood which would enhance the surgical capabilities of the hospital. On an average about 4000 major surgeries are conducted every year in the hospital.
