| All pending projects will be completed in time: Mangat Ram | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 26 Addressing the congress workers of Nagrota assembly constituency the Health and medical education minister Mangat Ram Sharma has asked the administration to redress the sufferings of the people and implement welfare schemes of the government with letter and spirit. He said that there are numerous welfare schemes for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden people of the state but the need is proper implementation of these schemes, so that benefit should reach to the needy and genuine people and this possible only if the Govt. officials work with fall dedication and devotion. He said that tremendous development has taken place during the present regime in Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress party has fulfilled all the promise made with the people in its manifesto. He said all the pending projects and major works will be completed in time for which he sought the cooperation of the party workers at the grass root level. Naji Nissar Khan, Minister for Social Welfare accompanied Sharma also addressed the convention. He announced 40 Anganware Centres for Nagrota Constituency on spot and also promised that all the pending cases of old-age and widows pensions will be cleared in the current financial year. Prominent among those spoke in the convention included Ram Rattan Sharma, Suraj din, Subash Singh, Khured Ali, Janak Singh, Rajinder Singh (Kali), Ganga Dutt, Sub. Sohan Singh, Master :Puran Chand, Romal Singh, Balbir Singh, Gharan Bhagat, Deepak Jangral, Joginder Singh and others. |
