| Four arrested for gambling | | | Early Times Reporter

Narwal police today arrested four persons and recovered thousands of rupees from the spot when they were involved in gambling at Transport Nagar. SP South Zahid Manhas said that police received a tip off that some persons were involved in gambling and creating nuisance in the area. After receiving the information a police party led by IC/PP Narwal Vikram Sharma swung into action and raided the spot where police arrested four persons namely Gurmeet Singh son of Thora Singh resident of Bhagwati Nagar sector no 3, Paramjeet Singh son of Chet Singh resident of Gool Gujral, Tirath Ram son of Jai Singh resident of Old Satwari and Gurchan Singh son of Lakhveer Singh resident of Nanak Nagar and recovered about five thousand of rupees from the spot and took them to police station for further interrogation and also registered a case in this regard
