| Infiltration bid foiled, three militants killed, Lt injured | | | Early Times Reporter

Army today killed three Pakistan based militants when they were trying to enter into this side at Datot Nala in Balakote. In the exchange of fire with militants, one lieutenant namely Parikshit Sharma suffered gun shot wounds and later evacuated to Command Hospital Udhampur.
According to reports reaching here Army got information from their own sources that some militants on other side of border waiting for crossing to Indian side, they ambushed the area and observed suspicious movement following which they opened fire. In the ensuing fire fight three terrorist namely Abu Ubed resident of Gujranwala (Pak), Abu Bakr resident of Mirpur (Pak) and Abu ansh were killed. Three AK rifles, 14 magazines, 377 rounds of ammunition, 9 grenades, one satellite phone, one binocular Olympus, one GPS, one digital watch, one passive sight and various wars like stores were recovered from their possessions.
