| RB raise fund under ‘save children’ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu Sep 27 Reckitt Benckiser has been working with save the children since 2003 raising money to fund the programmes of improving the lives of children and their families across the globe. The “Save 100,000 Lives” initiative was launched in 2006, aiming of raising 1million (appro Rs. 8.05 crores) to save 100,000 children lives by the end of 2008. As part of that program, 50 Reckiit Benckiser employees from around the world will take part in the first ever global challenge to raise 100000 (appro Rs. 85lacs). This global challenge a trek will take place in October 2007 in Himachal Pradesh. Reckiit Benckiser have committed to raising 1 million to fund save the children health an hygiene programmes to save 100,000 children lives. The global challenge (Trek) taking place in India takes this to a new level. Each of the Reckiit Benckiser trekkers has committed an enormous amount of time and effort to fund raise for the challenge and to get fit. Childhood only once. For some it doesn’t happen at all Reckiit Benckiser save 100,000 lives campaign will have a direct impact on some of the most vulnerable children, a press statement said. |
