| Medical Camp inaugurated at Kank | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 30 Chairman, Jammu Institute of Auyerveda and Research (JIAR) Dr Roop Lal Sharma today inaugurated a Free Medical Camp, being organized by JIAR, at village Kank where around 80 patients were treated by the team of doctors of the JIAR free of cost. JIAR is holding such free medical camps for the last two years where at least 10,000 patients have availed the medical treatment and free medicines, clinical tests at the hands of the best available doctors of ISM, a press release issued here today said. Inaugurating the 100th camp today, Sharma said that JIAR has been providing free medical help besides medicines to the villagers who do not have easy access to the best Medicare in Jammu city. Lauding the role of the seven member doctor's team headed by Dr Balwant Singh and Dr Bhawani Sharma, Sharma asked the villagers to take the benefit of the expert doctors and announced that an ambulance of the college would be kept available for the villagers who can send their patients to the college for emergent medical help adding all the medicines and clinical tests would be given free of cost to the patients. King C Bharati, Executive Editor, The Shadow also donated medicine worth Rs 1000 at camp. Dr Balwant Singh said that patients suffering from anemia, blood pressure, joint pain etc attend the camps and were treated with Ayurvedic system of medication. |
