| Jawan commits suicide | | | Early Times Reporter

An army jawan allegedly committed suicide in the wee hours of Monday in Nagrota by shooting himself with his service weapon.The jawan was performing duty at the time of incident in his own unit.
Army authorities have ordered a court of inquiry and police has also registered a FIR to investigate the case.
According to defence spokesman, a jawan of 17 engineers M Rajesh resident of Banglore allegedly committed suicide while on guard duty in Nagrota around 1.55 a.m with his service weapon.
The jawan had recently returned back after a long leave and joined his duty last week, defecne spokesman said without commenting on the reasons behind the alleged suicide. |
