Police today rescued eight youth from the custody of HM and LeT and apprehended four mentors, and three newly recruited militants from Doda and Kishtwar districts.
Police spokesman said that developing a tip off, police rescued eight youth from the clutches of militants during the late afternoon today.
The rescued youth are identified as Riyaz Ahemed son of Mohammed sakhi, Manzoor Ahmed son of Mohammed Mustafa, Abdul Subhan son of Mohd. Sharief, Manzoor Ahmed son of Ab. Jabbar, Mehraj Din son of Umar din, Riyaz Ahmed son of Ab. Hamid, Sunil Kumar son of Munshi Ram and Sunil Kumar son of Yog Raj.
All the rescued youth have been handed over to their parents.
The three newly recruited militants were identified as Mohd. Yousuf son of Mohd. Shaban, Fayaz Ahmed son of Abdul Gani Bhat and Shahzad Hussain son of Mohd. Iqbal.
The four youth working as motivators were identified as Bashir Ahmed Ganie son of Ab. Rehman Ganie, Nazir Husain son of Mohd. Amin, Gh. Mohd. Lone son of Ali Lone and Jalal u din son of Noor din. |
