| Inter-district (U-19) cricket begins today | | | Early Times Reporter

Allotted to newly created district Kishtwar, the inter-district divisional level boys (under-19) cricket tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports shall start tomorrow at Bal Bharati Bhawan grounds, Kishtwar.
In all, 9 teams are expected to take part in the near week-long event, said Divisional Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, S A Wani.
When asked why district Kishtwar was selected for the such a big activity, he said, “the department wants to give exposure to talent in far off districts and also to provide the boys from other districts an opportunity to interact and see the cultural richness of people in other districts”. |
