| Symposium on ‘Ghandhian philosophy’ organized | | | Early Times Reporter

Government Higher Secondary School organized symposium on the topic “The relevance of Ghandhian Philosophy of Non-Violence and Truth in the modern world” and also to celebrate the Gandhi Jayanti. Nearly 600 students were present on this occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of GHSS., Ravinder Kaur described Ghandhian Philosophy as a panacea to all social , moral and ethical ills prevalent in the present day world. Adopting the path of truth and non-violence , we can extricate the world from the present morass of violence and turmoil, she said and appreciated the continuation of extra curricular activity in the school and lauded the role of students and staff for their over whelming response.
Later, she gave away prizes to the participating students. The Vice principal of school Vijay Sharma and stage secretary, Pushpinder Singh, Senior Lecturer, Gharo Devi and Master Kura Ram also present on the occasion. |
