| 8 yr old among 4 die in road mishaps | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Oct 2 Four persons including an eight years old boy died in various road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, since last 24 hours. An official spokesman said that eight year old Ishfaq Ahmad Wani son of Muhammad Afzal of Kakarpora Mirgund, District Baramulla was critically injured when he was hit by a over speedy tractor near his house. Police said that the injured boy was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the offending vehicle was apprehended by the locals and handed over to police. A pedestrian was critically injured when he was hit by a motorcycle near Noorbagh Sopore, the spokesman told News Agency of Kashmir adding, and the injured also succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Subhan Sofi son of Ghulam Muhammad Sofi of Ganaie Hamam Baramulla. He was 55 yr old. An unidentified Motorcycle hit a lady, Baiga wife of Mahada Lone of Hatlango Sopore, at Hatlango Baramulla resulting in her on the spot death. The spokesman said that an unidentified vehicle hit and critically injured Ghulam Qadir Barwal (Bakerwal) son of Bashir Ahmad of Androth Rajouri at Gousia Colony Bemina, Srinagar, who later on succumbed to his injuries.
