Asst. arrested for selling govt medicine | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 2 Police arrested a Veterinary Assistant for allegedly selling the government medicine in open market from Mendhar town of Poonch district, on Tuesday morning. Reports reaching here revealed that police received specific inputs that a veterinary assistant was selling the medicine meant for free distribution in the government hospitals to some local shopkeepers. Based on the compliant, a police party led by Station House Officer (SHO) Mendhar Pawan Singh raided the rented accommodation of the veterinary assistant and recovered huge quantity of government medicines from his possession. Identified as Arab Hussain son of Abbas Ali Shah, the Vet Astt is posted at Mankote and was living in Mendhar in a rented room. |
