On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations , Youth Congress Block RS Pura in collaboration with Sewa National Social Service, an NGO organized a blood donation camp here today.
Mandeep Kour, SDM R S Pura was the chief guest at the camp while Bana Singh, Param Vir Chakra and President, Sewa National Social Service, awardee was the guest of honour.
Several people including Mandeep Kour, SDM, Dr. Kum Kum, HOD, Blood Bank, GMC Jammu, and Manoj Sharma, President Block Youth Congress, R S Pura voluntary donated blood .
Speaking on the occasion, Mandeep Kour, said that it is the responsibility of the every citizen to donate his blood for the sake of the poor people. Donating blood in no way affects one’s health, she said and called upon the people to generously donate blood and save lives of those who are in dire need of the same.Among others present at the camp were Suraj Parkash Singh and Advocate, Surinder Kour. |
