| MAM to take on Commerce College in handball final today | | | Early Times Reporter

Government MAM College will be locking horns with Government SPMR College of Commerce in the final of inter-college men’s handball competitions at University grounds, here tomorrow at 10 am.Earlier, in the semi-finals played today, MAM College defeated GGM Science College in a well contested match 21-18. Anil scored highest six goals while Ashish contributed five for the winners MAM College. From Science College, Birbhan Singh was top scorer with nine goals, followed by Tidyal, who added three goals.
In the second semi-final, Commerce College outplayed Degree College Udhampur in a one-sided contest 22-10. Sachin Manhas played a good game and scored six goals for the winners. Rajesh fought lone battle for the Degree College Udhampur contributing five goals.
Today’s semi-finals were officiated by Sudesh Kumar, Dev Raj (both SAI coaches), Vinney (State Sports Council) and Kapil Sagotra. Competition are being organised by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu. |
