| NC corporator played drama: Sethi | | | Early Times Reporter

“The incident of filmy style self immolation attempt by ward No. 4 Corporator of National Conference was to garner sympathy of the people as he has failed to come up to the expectations of the people of his ward,” said state secretary of BJP Yudhvir Sethi.
Sethi who toured Ward No. 4 of Jammu East Mandal and interacted with the local residents, said ‘how funny’ it was that the Corporator, who himself belongs to NC, the party which is partner with Congress in the Jammu Municipal Corporation, did nothing for the development of his ward and indulged in drama to escape the wrath of the people and gain their sympathy. He said the ward is facing sanitation-related problems and lack of street lights. He advised the NC corporator to work for the development of his ward because the work done on the ground attracts appreciation while mere drama only brings opposition.
Sethi was accompanied by other party activists including Inder Pal Sharma, Tarsem Jain, Arun Sethi, Prem Gandotra and Devi Dass. |
