In order to avoid slow movement of traffic especially during peak hours, motorists are requested to get their vehicles parked in parking lots only. The parking lots available in Srinagar city are Sheikhbagh, Residency Road near SBI, Old State Motor Garages yard, Poloview, Tungbagh near Welcome Hotel, Nehru Park, near Khalsa High School, Old KMD Adda, near Lalla Rukh, near Hotel Sheezan, opposite Mughal Darbar Srinagar.
Motorists are given two more days’ w.e.f October 4, 2007 to desist from parking their vehicles unauthorizedly. On October 5, 2007 drive against unauthorized parking shall be launched by this unit. |
