Restrictions imposed around Dayalachak temple

In order to prevent annoyance to the general public and disturbance of public tranquility, Additional District Magistrate Kathua Mr Laj Ram Chadgal in exercise of powers vested in him under section 144 CrPc ordered that 300 meters area around Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Langerial (Dayalachak) Hiranagar will be dry area and drinking of alcohol except in the barroom of Tourist Dak Bungalow, Dayalachak, eating of meat, use of tobacco and narcotic drugs, performing of funeral rites except, in cremation ground is totally prohibited. Parking of vehicles on Mandir side or in its way is also prohibited.
Anybody violating the order shall be prosecuted under section 188 of the Ranbir panel code. This order shall remain in force for a period of two months from today.
