| Adbi Kunj remembers Ramdhari Dinkar | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | oct 3 Adbi Kunj known for its crusade to promote creative literary activity in the state held a composite short story meet the other day under the chairmanship of its president Sham Talib. On the occasion T.R Mahajan, a well known educationist and one of the patrons of Adbi Kunj, was the chief guest. On the occasion resolution was adopted in the meet in which two eminent personalities of urdu language in the state namely Dr. Sohaib Malik and Dr. Assadullah Wani were felicitated on being appointed as professors in Urdu deptt. in University of Jammu. Through another resolution rich tributes were paid to Ramdhari Singh Dinkar on his birthday centenary and his outstanding services to Hindi literature and his contribution in the propagation of Hindi in government offices etc were highlighted. In story session Talib Kashmiri presented a write up titled “Shinakht-e-Gul” Kimiti Lal Dubey read out a Punjabi satirical story “Muthi Garm” Ayodhaya Rani Gamkhwar read her composition “Mera Desh Mahan” Girdhari Lal read his dogri story titled “Irkh-di-Athroo”. The meet ended with vote of thanks presented by com. Jaswant Singh chief organizer, Adbi Kunj. |
