Early Times Reporter Jammu | oct 3 Granting of scholarship to Sikh youths studying in various professional colleges of the country has been welcomed by the J&K, national sikh front. Chairman of the front Varinder Jeet Singh while addressing the meeting of NSF activists said, this is the result of sacrifices made by the community. He said the struggle will continue unless and until both state and central government should keep 10% reservation for sikh youth in government services and in professional colleges. He said sikh has always been neglected, and as such reservation is the only solution. Among other who also addressed the meeting were Kulwant Singh, Bhatti, Harvinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gurcharan Singh Sudan, Gurtej Singh, Harjit Singh, Rupinder Pal, and Mohan Singh. |
