Pen Down strike of clerical associations gain momentum | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 15: With each passing day, more clerical associations are extending their support on Pen Down strike on November 16 on the call given by Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh All Department s Clerical Staff Association in support of their long pending demands. An emergency meeting of the representatives of All J&K Irrigation & Flood Control Clerical Employees Association was held under the leadership of Kapil Gupta, President of the Association including Rakesh Gupta, Kuldeep Singh, Sanjeev Kohli & others. It was unanimously decided to support the Pen Down Strike on 16 & 17 November, 2016 and to assemble in front of Press Club, Jammu on 17-11-2016. The representatives of Jammu Development Authority Employees Association, in a meeting held under the leadership of Ashok Singh, President of the Association unanimously decided to support the Pen Down Strike on 16 & 17 November, 2016. Meanwhile, a body of clerical cadre of J&K State Motor Garages Clerical Employees Association was constituted in which Vipan Bangroo was elected as President, Shakeel Ahmad as Vice President, Kaiser Sadiq as General Secretary, Devinder Singh as Secretary and Anju Sharma as Joint Secretary and supported their the proposed strike. The members of association highlighted their demands including removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, DPC in all the departments after every 6 months and reorganization of the clerical cadre outside the Civil Secretariat on the pattern of Civil Secretariat, implementation of the 7!h Pay Commission on the pattern of Central Government in the state, increase of Medical Allowance, dislocation allowance to all the officials who are posted outside their home district. |
