Government MAM College and PG Departments shared the inter-college men’s wrestling trophy securing equal 10 points. The competitions were organised by the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Trikuta Degree College and Government SPMR College of Commerce also did fairly well in the contest but could not match the medals tally of MAM and PG Departments.
The bouts were officiated by Bansi Lal Tidyal, Mulkh Raj Sharma, Jai Bharat, Babu Ram Pathania, Kulbir Singh Langeh and Ravinder Sharma.

50 kg: Ravi Kumar, MAM, Ist; Dimple Kumar, Degree College Kathua, 2nd and Sunil Singh, Commerce College, third.
55 kg: Mohd. Riaz, GGM Science College, Ist; Atish Dutta, Commerce College, 2nd and Amit Kumar, Trikuta Degree College, third.
60 kg: Ganesh Dass, Degree College, Akhnoor, Ist; Zaffar Iqbal, Degree College, Rajouri, 2nd and Randev Singh, Commerce College, third.
66 kg: Naresh Kumar, Trikuta College, Ist; Amit Sharma, Degree College Akhnoor, 2nd and Raghubir Singh, Degree College Rajouri, third.
74 kg: Gulzar Ahmed, PG Departments, Ist; Deepak Dutta, Degree College Rajouri, 2nd and Kailash Singh, Commerce College, third.
84 kg: Sunil Sharma, PG Departments, Ist; Vinod, Science College, 2nd and Amit Kumar, Degree College Akhnoor, third.
96 kg: Sarfraz, MAM College, Ist; Fazal Din, Trikuta Degree College, 2nd and Lohit Koshar, Degree College, Rajouri, third.
