Winning their respective matches in easy straight frames, Dilawar Mir and Hilal today made it into the second round of junior snooker in the 17th Srinagar district billiards and snooker championship underway at Billiards Hall, Bakshi Stadium, here.
While Dilawar defeated Asif Rashed 2-0 (59-17, 70-21), Hilal outplayed Tariq 2-0 (65-35, 75-19). In another match of the day, Owais Baba underwent a close contest before he defeated Aashiq 2-1 (37-48, 68-39, 77-9).
The district championship is being organized by the District Srinagar Billiards and Snookar Association. |
