IT Majors hold Nex Gen schools summit

To help the schools of Jammu city to step into digital learning age, India’s Number One Education Company Educomp supported by IT majors, Intel, HCL and LG held Nex Gen Schools Summit.
The main aim of organizing this summit was to provide opportunity to schools in the city to witness a brand new paradigm in digital learning globally. In this summit Educopm introduced its internationally acclaimed smart class program and smart assessment system. The summit was attended by principals and teachers from schools across the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Sr. Vice President, Educomp solutions Ltd., Abhinav Dhar said that the need of the hour is to supplement traditional methods of learning in classrooms with innovative IT and multimedia applications to enhance a Childs educational experience. Adding to it, he said that IT can empower the teacher by providing her with many more resources and methods with the classroom.
