| CCB Chairman reviews half yearly working results | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 4 Chairman Citizens Cooperative Bank Dinesh Gupta has called upon the bank employees to pay regular attention towards further improvement of the customer services to compete with the other commercial banks. He was addressing a meeting of officers held to review the half yearly working results of the bank. Directors B.S. Manhas, Arun Gupta, Kailash Kumar Langer and Shashi Paul Vaid were also present at the review meeting. He said that in the present consumerism era only the consumer friendly institutions shall survive an as such utmost caution/care is required while dealing with clients of the Bank. The board of directors assures supporting hand to staff in achievement of desired results and in return hard work with dedication and honesty expected from staff of the bank. The chairman of the Bank has announced Deposit Scheme namely Sampuran Bachat Yojna in which deposit amount of Rs. 42000 shall grow to Rs. 11002 after maturity of ten years at the rate of 16.20% (Yield) and the deposit of Rs. 9545. shall grow to Rs. 25010. after maturity of ten years at the rate of 16.20%(Yield). The Chairman further emphasized officers of the Bank to contact workers/ labourers and low-income persons and open their saving bank account with minimum balance of Rs. 10/- only. He stressed to initiate steps to recover delinquent loans by adopting all possible measures available for the purpose adding that after completion of financial year the performance of staff shall be judged and those excel in working/achievement of results shall be awarded suitably preferably with cash awards. |
