| GRF organizes AIDS awareness programme | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 4 Green Ray Foundation (GRF) in collaboration with the J&K AIDS Control Society Organized an AIDS awareness programme at K L Sehgal Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma, Minister for Health and Medical Education was the chief guest on an occasion while Ex. Minister Rangil Singh, director, AIDS control Society and MLA Shoaib Lone, Randhir Singh Mehta, president, GRF were also present. The students of different colleges debate on AIDS for marking the awareness among the society about most vulnerable disease AIDS. Randhir Singh Mehta, in his address stress upon to identify the patients among youths and guide them, besides educating youth about the various routes on unsafe sexual intercourse and infected blood transfusion, among others thorough which AIDS could spread. Mangat Ram Sharma who the chief guest appreciated the Green Ray Foundation about its social activities in different sectors such ass blood donation camps, donation camps for Tsumani victims, plantation drive to save environment etc and also for organizing such important programme on the most dangerous disease. Those who were present were Baban Preet Kour, Disha, Gurpreet Kour, Tejinder Kour, Tej Pal (Marshal) and others. |
