Protests rocks today entire Leh district over the alleged demolition of ages old statue of Lord Buddha in Pakistan and killing of Buddhist Monks in Myanmar.
Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a procession was taken out in Leh Town by around 500 members of Adhoc LBA, who were protesting against the alleged demolition of Ages Old Statue of Lord Buddha in Pakistan and killing of Buddhist. The Protesters handed over a memorandum to Hon'ble MP Leh at Polo Ground Leh.
Later according to sources, the Protestants who met the MP were assured that the mater would be discussed at an appropriate level. |
