| 15 girls turn-up for trials in women cricket | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 5 As many as 15 girls turned up for trials in the nets on day one for the forthcoming senior women’s North Zone cricket tournament organized by the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) at different venues. Conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), the trials are being supervised by the SAI coach, Veena Sharma at MA Stadium, here. It is pertinent to mention here that Jammu and Kashmir will play their first two-day match against Himachal at Himachal on October 16 and October 17. It will be followed by the one-dayer on October 18 at the same venue with same opponent. |
