Hashmat Wani and Azan Amin today win easy matches to advance into the next round of the ongoing 17th Srinagar district billiards and snooker championship at Billiards Hall, Bakshi Stadium, here.
In the first match, Hashmat defeated Shahzada Singh in straight frames while Azan Amin also had a straight frame victory over Dilawar Mir. Other two matches of the day were won by Fahad Hundoo and Owais Baba.
The detailed results: Hashmat Wani bt Shahzada Singh 62-36, 45-26; Azan Amin bt Dilawar Mir 59-27, 66-34; Fahad Hundoo bt Danish 63-41, 73-47; Owais Baba bt Shahid Nizami 41-55, 80-21, 65-36.
