Maha Yagha at Ranbireshwar temple from first Navratra

A 9-day Chandi Maha Yagha for lasting peace in the sub continent in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular and for the overall welfare of the people is being organized at Ranvireshwar temple here from October 12. This was announced by Ashwani Gupta President Shiv Sena, Bal Thackrey group to media persons here today.
Gupta said that it is for the first time that such a Yagha, coinciding the Navratra festival, is being organized in the city of temples and will conclude on Mahanavmi. He said a record number of forty five couples will take part in this Yagha. A large number of devotees from across the country are likely to be present at the Yagha where several spiritual and religious dignitaries apart from Vedic scholars are expected to give ‘parvachans’.
