| Motor cycle expedition begins | | | Early Times Reporter

Lieutenant General PC Bhardwaj, AVSM, VrC, SC, VSM, General Officer Commanding Fire and Fury Corps flagged off Red Shield motorcycle expedition comprising of two officers, one JCO and 17 jawans of 15 JAMMU AND KASHMIR LIGHT INFANTRY at Leh, today. The expedition laid by Lieutenant Colonel HR Desai traversed from Imphal to Leh via Siachen Base Camp and will finally terminate at New Delhi, having traversed a distance of approximately 8000 kms in 20 days.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Officer wished the participants best of luck for the journey and hoped that they would succeed in their mission of spreading the message of peace and harmony. The motivational force behind this expedition is to instill the spirit of adventure in the youth of the Army in the country. |
