Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress has condoled the death of Ram Lal Sharma father of Narinder Sharma, Secretary PCC, who breathed his last after a brief illness at his residence here yesterday.
Several senior party leaders including Minister Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma, Speaker Tara Chand, Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma, Praduman Singh, MLC, Yash Paul Khajuria, Major Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman Pahari Board Shabir Ahmed Khan, PCC spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Shamser Singh. Krishan Lal Gupta, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Raval Matoo, Manmohan Singh, Pawan Raina, Ashwani Puri, Kamal Anad, Uttam Singh, Narinder Gupta and staff members of PCC attended the last rites at Jogi gate cremation ground.
Later, in a condolence meeting held at PCC Headquarters under the chairmanship of Praduman Singh, rich tributes were paid to the departed soul. The participants at the meeting observed two minute silence and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Among others who attended the meeting were Farida Mir, Om Chopra, Kirtan Singh. B B Gupta, Nek Mohammed, Mansa Ram, Nazir Ahmed, MM Handa, Z A Bhatti, Kiran Bala, Kamlesh Basin, Pankaj Chiber, Mool Raj and Thomas Khokhar. |
