Senior Congress, Sajjad Shaheen has expressed grave concern over the erratic power supply of shortage of essential commodities in several areas of the tehsil and urged the authorities to ensure that essentials are dispatched to the deficit areas on war footings.
Talking to media persons here today, the Congress leader said that unscheduled power curtailment especially during the holy month of Ramadan has caused enormous problems for the people of the area.
He alleged that many areas like Mahu ,Mangit, Neel, Phago, Poghal Paristan,
Hinjhaal, Ukerhaal, Amkoot, Thachi, Sarbagni, Kherkoot, Nowgam Tethar, Chareeel, Kaskoot, Assar , Shaban Bass, Bankoot and Gund are not getting the ration in sufficient quantities. He also said that the some far-flung areas of tehsil are till with out food stores and the residents have to foot a long distance of 9-10 kms to collect rations from the town.
The Congress leader alleged that areas like Mahu, Mangit, Gujjar Narh, Sarbagni, Neel are under darkness for the last four week as the concerned department has failed to restore the supply . |
