| Website for IGNOU regional centre inaugurated | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of Coordinators’ of IGNOU of Jammu region was held here today. The meeting presided over by the Dr CK Ghosh Director Regional Services Division IGNOU, New Delhi, was attended by 25 Co-ordinates PICs of different learner Centres of IGNOU spread in seven districts of Jammu region. Besides other operational issues, the main objective of the University is to reach the unreached areas was also discussed at length and it was decided that special thrust will be given to the learners of the remote areas of the region.
Ghosh appreciated the role of Cordinators PKs’ and the progress made by the Jammu centre over of the past few years. He insisted for better students support services in the region. He also inaugurated Jammu IGNOU Regional Centre’s Website www.ignourejmu.nic.in.
Regional Director, KK Bhat also appreciated the role of Cordinators PICs and informed that the past three months three new learner centres, one each in Kishtwar. Bhaderwah and Jammu were opened and some more centres in Samba, Ramban, Ramngar & Reasi are in the pipeline. |
