Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 6 In a major upset of the tournament, top seed Ishan Choudhary lost in the quarterfinals of the senior snooker today in the ongoing 17th Jammu district billiards and snooker championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here. Meanwhile, semi-finals position has been cleared with the entry of Jaideep Manocha, Kuldeep Sharma, Kamal Rohmetra and Sumesh Turki in the last four state. Now, in the semi-finals, Kuldeep will take on Sumesh on October 8 at 2 pm while Kamal will be facing Jaideep at 2 pm a day later on October 9. Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Kamal defeated Vidit Gawri in straight frames 66-35, 83-5, 49-27 while Jaideep trounced Ishan Choudhary 3-1 (61-9, 45-72, 71-52, 53-63, 49-39).
