| CMS organizes Rangoli, painting competitions | | 141st birth anniversary celebrations of ‘Sher-e-Duggar’ | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 7 As a part of the two-week long celebrations of 141st birth anniversary of Sher-e-Duggar, Lala Hans Raj Dogra, founder of Mahajan Sabha, Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) organized painting and Rangoli competition, at Mahajan Bhavan here today. Two topics, “Lala Hans Raj Mahajan—A Great Social Reformer” and for peace and happiness in a joint family whole-hearted cooperation of all family members is inevitable, were deliberated upon by the students. Large number of students of different age groups participated in painting and rangoli competition . Earlier, Ramesh Chander Gupta, President JCMS underlined the history and remembered the works done by great social reformer, educationist and founder of number of social organizations including Malayan Sabha. Later, the names of the students who excelled in painting and rangoli competition were announced. . Those present on the occasion were Sudesh C Gupta, General Secretary, Bal Krishnan Gupta, Senior Vice President, Jagmohan Khanna, Dr. Mohan Singh, Ravi Rohmatra and other senior functionaries. |
