| One killed, 2 IRP jawans, among five, injured in road accidents | | | Early Times Reporte

One person was killed and five others, including two IRP jawans, suffered injuries in separate road accidents across Jammu region during the last 24 hours.
A police handout said today that Rattan Lal son of Gurdass Sharma resident of Kotli Batote fell down from the fire service vehicle, which was on its way from Batote to Chenani, at Panama Morh Kud and died on spot. The body was later shifted to PHC Chenani for postmortem.
In the meanwhile, five persons suffered injuries in different road mishaps. Giving details, the handout said, that Rahul son of Brij Mohan of Krishna Nagar was hit by a municipality vehicle at Bhagwati Nagar while Vishal Sharma son of Jagdish Sharma of Sunderbani suffered injuries in a road accident at Siot. Ranjeet Kumar son of Manohar Lal of Udheywalla suffered injuries after he was hit by a scooter and Special grade constable Mushtaq and Constable Mudeser Hussain of 636 IRP 13 Bn received injuries when their vehicle, in which they were traveling in, rolled down at Raipur. The injured have been admitted in Government Medical College Hospital here for treatment. |
