‘Describing Congress-NC, and their latest born child- PDP, as mother of corruption, communalism and terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir’, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Supremo Prof Bhim Singh has accused the successive NC-Congress governments for discriminating against the people of Jammu especially those of the border areas in all respects. Taking his ‘Haq –Insaf; Andolan to the people of the border line in Arina of Bishnah tehsil today, Prof Singh shook the corrupt and communal Congress-PDP alliance out of their roots in the bordering constituencies of Jammu rural where the Congress had returned to the Assembly in huge strength. Addressing rallies at Sai Camp of 1971 Chhamb refugees, Arnia, Riyal, Bishnah and some other places, Prof Singh accused Congress for the exile of Maharaja Hari Singh in 1947 for acceding to Union of India, dubbing Pt. Prem Nath Dogra as a communalist who had adopted a Muslim youth as his son, denying justice to the refugees from Pakistan and PoK and supporting Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah to enact the most dangerous law through Bill No 9 which was later stayed by the Apex Court following his petition. ‘The youth of Jammu and Kashmir took up guns because of the injustice done to them by the successive regimes, who ruled the state by fraud, deception and cheating’, he said and called upon the people to unitedly oppose, expose and finally depose the most corrupt and authoritarian government of Congress-PDP . Harshdev Singh, MLA and former education minister in his strong arguments exposed the Congress PDP rule and advocated for their defeat in order to save the people from their draconian rule. As education minister, he said, that he brought revolutionary changes by appointing more than 35,000 teachers, sanctioned 10,000 schools, opened 32 colleges.’ The Roshni Act is a fraud on the people and basically meant to benefit the land grabbers who belonged to Congress and NC’, he alleged.. Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA appealed the people to join PP to liberate the suffering people of Jammu in particular from the corrupt rule. Others present on the occasion were Faquir Nath MLA, Anita Thakur, P.K. Ganjoo, Ghulam Ali, Shanti Swaroop, Romesh Khajuria and Naresh Chib. |
