AGM elects existing team 12/12/2016 8:34:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 12: The annual general body meeting of the Association For Welfare of Senior Citizens (Regd) was held where the house unanimously decided to continue the existing team to continue for another term of two years. The team consists of A.K Arora as President , R.C. Gupta as General Secretary, K.K. Mahajan and B.M. Kohli as vice presidents, P.P. Mengi as treasurer, and Chander Parkash and S.L. Abrol as Jt. Sec. The President presented the welcome address. He deliberated on the progress made by the Assocn. and also the deliberations the Assoc delegation had with the Governor on 7th. of Dec. The President also elaborated the various constraints the association is facing in the day to day working. He also informed the house about various steps taken to improve the financial health of the association. The annual report of the association was read by the secretary and the annual accounts were presented by the treasurer. The members were addressed by Ram Anand and Ankit Sharma for different ways of proper savings by the senior citizens. The proceedings were conducted by S.L.Abrol and vote of thanks were presented by B.M. Kohli, H.B. Khajuria, senior patron presided over the meeting.
