Jammu, Dec 17: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu quite often is organizing religious/spiritual programmes for religiously devoted citizens besides, various character building programmes for the development of the children who are the future of the nation. As the proverb goes that when wealth is losts, nothing is lost, when health is lost, something is lost but when character is lost, everything is lost. Keeping this in view, a programme of Bhashan Pratiyogita was organised today in Mandir premises, wherein students from 6th to 12th classes of twenty schools sprawling throughout Jammu city, participated. Prof. Ashok Aima Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu was the Chief Guest and Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Management Trust presided over. Two participants from each school participated in this Pratiyogita. A panel of three senior professors of Jammu University constituted the judging committee. The participants who were awarded 1st, 2nd &3rd prize respectively included Rudhrakshi of Class 11th,of Co-operative Public High School, Deeli, Jammu, Priya Malbotra of Class 10th ,of Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu and Supriya Uttam of Class 10th , of Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu. Besides, the two students given Consolation Prizes were Harjot Kaur of Class 10th of Heritage School, Sainik Colony Jammu & Samiya Aziz of Class 12th of Shikaha Niketan Hr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar, Jammu and two special prizes were also awarded to Master Vatsal of Class 4th and Shambhavi Sharma of class U.K.G of Rich Harvest School Shastri Nagar. |
